ODIC:
(Outreach and Drop-in Centre)
Outreach and Drop-In Centre (ODIC) is a community-based facility for substance users. The ODIC caters to individuals, particularly youth to who use various substances and those who have the least access to resources. ODIC is client-focused with an ultimate goal to prevent youth in the community to initiate substance use, also to help the current users to become sober by taking treatment. An ODIC is a doorway for substance users to a non-threatening and caring environment. It is a hub for all services, which substance users can access as per his or her need and convenience. The ODIC will also provide psychosocial support, a space for rest and recreation, as well as access to other substance users and OUTREACH WORKERS for support and care through mutual sharing of experiences.
CPLI:
(Trainer Cum Community Mobilizer)
To provides awareness or intervention program at schools and community through peer educators/volunteers. Community Peer-Based Led Intervention (CPLI) is a structured, community-centric approach aimed at addressing substance use disorders at the grassroots level. Implemented under the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) framework, CPLI involves identifying, training, and mobilizing individuals from within the community — particularly recovered users and motivated volunteers — to act as peer educators, counselors, and outreach workers. The program’s strength lies in its peer-to-peer model, ensuring empathy, trust, and local cultural alignment.
IRCA:
(Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts)
To providing treatment, counseling and rehabilitation services to the individuals recovering from drug addictions. The Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts aims at providing complete services which are essential for a person’s recovery from Drug and alcoholic addiction. Major services rendered by the center include:
• Screening and motivational counseling
• Detoxification and whole person recovery
• Care and support to families of drug users
• Referral services
• Post care and follow-up
